Your new tab,
your way.
A modular dashboard that replaces your new tab with the tools you actually use. Drag it, resize it, make it yours.
Everything you need,
no credit card required.
Seven widgets in the box. Add as many copies as you want — two clocks for two timezones, three notes for three projects, your call.
- Clock — Live time with timezone support and 12h / 24h format. Updates every second.
- World Clock — Multiple timezones at a glance, with day-offset indicators when it's already tomorrow somewhere.
- Calendar — Monthly view with today highlighted and your week-start preference.
- Bookmarks — Quick access to your Chrome bookmarks and folders, rendered with their real favicons.
- Notes — Rich-text notes with autosave — always there when you open a new tab.
- Calculator — Full calculator and unit converter — length, weight, temperature, all built in.
- Pomodoro — 25/5 focus timer with circular progress and daily session tracking.
- Screenshot — Capture the active tab, annotate with arrows, text and redactions, then copy to clipboard or share — all without leaving Chrome.
- Page Inspector — Inspect fonts, sizes, weights and color palette of any page — without opening DevTools.
Go further
with Pro.
For power users who want more out of every new tab. One purchase, all current and future Pro widgets.
- Color Tools — HEX, RGB and HSL converter with a saved palette. Pick a color, copy any format in one click.
- Tab Manager — See all open tabs grouped by site. Close duplicates, jump to any tab, and cut through the tab chaos.
- Weather — Current weather for any city — temperature, humidity, wind speed. Auto-detects your location or set a city manually.
- Stocks — Track stocks and crypto with live prices, change percentage and a 7-day sparkline chart.
- Webhook Buttons — One-click HTTP trigger buttons for n8n, Make, Home Assistant or any endpoint. Configure method, headers and JSON body per button.
- Docs — Write rich step-by-step guides with screenshots in the side panel, then share via link. Works like Scribe or Notion docs — without a subscription.
Simple by design.

Built different.
The defaults we picked. The things we don't do. The reasons we built this in the first place.
No account required
Everything saves locally in your browser. Open it anywhere, take it nowhere — your data stays on your machine.
No tracking, no ads
Your data never leaves your device. We don't have a server to send it to, and we'd like to keep it that way. Read our privacy policy.
Light & dark mode
Follows your system theme automatically, or set it manually. Both modes are designed, not auto-inverted.
Multiple instances
Two clocks for two timezones. Three notes for three projects. As many copies of any widget as you need.

Common questions.
Does LomuTab store my data in the cloud?
No. Everything — your notes, bookmarks, docs, settings — is stored locally in Chrome storage on your device. LomuTab has no backend, no database, and no user accounts.
Does it work offline?
Yes. LomuTab works fully offline. The only features that require a network connection are Weather (your API key), Stocks (your API key), and sharing docs or screenshots via a public link.
Do I need an account to use LomuTab?
No account required — not for the free tier, not for Pro. Pro is activated with a license key you receive after purchase. No sign-up, no password.
What happens to my notes if I uninstall the extension?
Your data lives in Chrome's local storage. Uninstalling the extension will delete that data. If you want to keep your notes, export them before uninstalling (copy the text or use the Docs export feature).
How does Pro work? Is there a free trial?
Pro unlocks additional widgets (Tab Manager, Color Tools, Weather, Stocks) and removes limits on widgets, notes, and docs. There's no free trial, but the free tier is genuinely usable with no time limit. You can upgrade anytime from the Settings page inside the extension.
Is LomuTab available for Firefox or Safari?
Not yet. LomuTab is currently a Chrome extension only. Firefox and other browser support is on the roadmap.
What is the side panel?
The side panel is a tools drawer that opens alongside any webpage — so you can take a screenshot, check your clipboard, write a note, or run the Pomodoro timer without leaving the page you're on. Open it from the Chrome toolbar.
Can I share a doc or note with someone who doesn't have LomuTab?
Yes. Docs and screenshots generate a public link that anyone can open in a browser — no extension, no account needed on their end. Notes use a read-only share link encoded in the URL.
